The Norwell Lady Knights hosted Northridge on Saturday to wrap up a busy weekend for the program. Norwell defeated the Raiders in all three contests to get the Saturday sweep. In the varsity contest, Norwell raced out to a 15-3 1st quarter lead and steadily built on that lead throughout the game to win 57-36. Vanessa Rosswurm led the team with 20 points and 5 assists. Macie Saalfrank had 16 on the afternoon with 4 steals. Addison Norris and Ashley Waldman each had 7 points and Waldman led the team in rebounds with 7. Alivia Green had 4 pts, Jada Dale 2 and Haley Williamson 1. JV Game: The JV girls outscored the Raiders 26-12 in the 1st half and used a 17-4 3rd quarter to open the game up and win by a final of 53-30. Chloe Comer and Maggie Neuenschwander each finished with 11 points to pace the JV. Joycelynn Hogsett-Turner - 9 pts, Mia Kurtz - 6, Daisy Swineford - 4, Hadley Meyer - 3, Avery Thornton - 3, Mallory young - 3 and Ally Graft - 3. Freshman Game: Like the Varsity & JV, the Freshman ran out to a good size lead at the half as they led 30-9 at the break in route to a 46-22 win. Kendall Fegley hit 5 3's for 15 pts to face the team. Rilynn Hoopingarner & Kynnlei Beste each had 11 on the afternoon. Hadie Isch added 5, Leah Randol 2 and Elizabeth Mann 2.
