The Norwell Lady Knights faced off against Center Grove Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the 4A State Title. In their third straight appearance at the State Finals (2024 & 2025 in 3A) the Lady Knights led by 6 at the end of the 1st, by 2 at halftime and entered the 4th quarter up 43-38. After a tough start to the 4th that saw the Lady Knights fall behind by as much as 10 points, they battled back to get the game within 1 and had a shot to tie the game at the buzzer but ultimately fell short 56-53. The Lady Knights ended the season with a 25-5 record, setting the program record for wins in a season. Senior Macie Saalfrank was selected as the Patricia L. Roy Mental Attitude Award winner.
