The Girls Golf team competed in the NE8 Golf Championship on Saturday at Cross Creek in Decatur. Coming in as the #2 seed, the Knights finished 2nd behind DeKalb with four golfers earning all-conference recognition led by first teamer Ellie Gatton who finished 5th with an 85. Savanna Simerman (87) and Anna Dodane (90) earned 2nd team honors and Nevada Lenwell was Honorable Mention with a 94. Emmy Heaston rounded out the scoring with a 101. They will host Bishop Luers and South Adams on Wednesday to end their regular season and will then take part in the IHSAA Sectional on Friday at Chestnut Hills.
