Thursday the Homestead Spartans and Norwell Knights faced each other on the baseball fields and the Spartans picked up a pair of wins over the Knights. In the varsity game at Norwell, the Knights made a late comeback but came up short 5-3. In JV action, the Norwell JV guys came back to tie the game in the top of the 7th, only to see Homestead plate a run for a 12-11 win over the Knights.
