The Norwell Girls Soccer team hosted NE8 rival Huntington North in their last regular season home match on Monday. Results: Norwell JV 0 – Huntington North JV 0 Individual Highlights: Abby Wagner and Emma Garner combined for a scoreless game for Norwell. Results Norwell Varsity 0 – Huntington North Varsity 1 Individual Highlights: Gracie Rinkenberger had 7 saves for Norwell. Grace Mann, Makenzie Fuess, Issie Isch, and Karrigan Melcher all put great pressure on the opposing goal keeper but could not find the net for Norwell. Lillian Norris and Addison Norris both had strong games for Norwell on the defensive side. Next Event: Norwell Lady Knights JV and Varsity will be traveling to Woodlan for a game on Wednesday 9/27. Varsity will begin at 5:30pm with the JV following at 7pm.
