The Varsity Baseball team squared off against the host Bellmont Braves in the Sectional Championship on Monday. The Knights offense picked up 13 hits from 10 different players. They scored 3 in the 3rd before Bellmont answered with 2 in the bottom half of the 4th. In the 5th the Knights plated 6 runs and would add another in the 7th for the 10-2 win. Cayden Cassel went 2-3 with 2 RBI's, Trey Privett was 2-4 and Carter Costello went 2-2. Drew Jolley & Hunter Kurtz each doubled and Noah Schamlerloh had a triple to right. Noah picked up the win pitching the 1st 4 innings and then Dylan Chism picked up the 3 inning save. They will face Delta in the Regional on Saturday.
