The JV Football team hosted Columbia City Saturday morning in their season finale and fell to Columbia City 26-22. Adam Mahnensmith scored a TD from 2 yards out and Cassel had a 1 pt conversion run to make the score 14 - 8. Titus Edwards had a fumble recovery, which the offense wasn't able to capitalize on. Luke Drieband had a 43 yard fumble return for a TD with Cassel hitting Inonstroza for the 2 pt conversion. Brock Zent had a blocked PAT on defense. Cassel hit Korben Neunschwander for a 25 yd TD pass to end the scoring for the 2023 season.
