The Boys Basketball Teams made their first road trip of the season as the traveled to Mississinewa on Tuesday to take on the Indians. Freshman Final: Mississinewa 46 - Norwell 36 Offensively, Trey Privett lead the way (14 pts), Wyatt Clifton had 9 points, Camden Fisher 5 points, Jack Richardson 4 points, Palmer Krug and Adam Mahnensmith each had 2 points. JV Final: Mississinewa 39 - Norwell 32 Individual Highlights: Nick McBride led the way with 17 points Garry Riley also scored 8 points and Brady Smith scored 7 points Varsity Final: Norwell 52 - Mississinewa 49 At the end of the first quarter the teams were tied at 12. Norwell had a strong second quarter outscoring Mississinewa 21-5 to take a 33-17 lead into the locker room. The Indians came out strong in the second half and the Knights were able to hold on for a three-point win. Ashton Federspiel was the leading scorer with 15. Adam McBride scored 13, Cohen Bailey had 10 and 4 assists, Cade Shelton went for 9 with 9 boards and Owen Wallis contributed 5 in the victory. The boys team will be at Oak Hill on Saturday for a 12:00 start.
