The varsity football team picked up its second win of the season by defeating the Heritage Patriots 42-0 in their home opener. Jon Colbert led the Knights in rushing with 59 yards on 1 carry. Lleyton Bailey was 4-8 through the air for 67 yards and a 10 yard TD pass to Cade Shelton. Luke Graft scored twice on the ground and Ayden Rusu led the defense with 5 tackles. The Knights will travel to Leo next Friday to open up NE8 play against the Lions.
