The Norwell Knights traveled to Maconaquah Saturday evening to take on the Bellmont Braves in the 3A Girls Basketball Sectional Final. After jumping out to a 25-11 lead after the 1st quarter, the Braves outscored the Knights by 7 points over quarters 2 & 3 and cut the lead to 7 pts at one point in the 4th quarter. The Knights would let them get no closer and closed out the 17-point victory to earn their 11th sectional title in the last 14 years. They will face Benton Central next Saturday in the Regional at a location to be announced on Sunday.
