The Norwell Lady Knights basketball team traveled to Maconaquah Saturday evening to take on their rival the Bellmont Braves in the 3A Sectional Championship. The Knights got out to a fast start and lead 25-11 at the end of the 1st period. Bellmont closed the gap over the 2nd & 3rd periods as they outscored the Knights 21-14 during that time period. Early in the 4th, Bellmont cut Norwell's lead to 7 before the Knights found their stride and pushed out to a 57-40 victory and the Sectional Championship. The Lady Knights will travel to Caston High School on Saturday to take on the Benton Central Bison for the Regional Title at 4:00.
