The Girls Basketball team made a historic trip to Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday to play in the 3A State Championship game against Gibson Southern. This is the first time in school history that a girls team has made it to the State Championship game. After tying the game up about halfway through the 1st period, Gibson Southern took control of the half and went to the break with a 36-26 lead. The Titans extended that lead to 19 points at the mid-way point of the 3rd quarter. The Lady Knights kept fighting and got the lead down to 1 late in the 4th quarter but ultimately fell 63-60 ending an incredible season for a very special team!
