The Girls Golf team competed in the NE8 Championship on Saturday at Cross Creek in Decatur. The team finished with a score of 363, coming up 3 shots shy of DeKalb for the title. Leading the way for the Knights was Junior Anna Dodane who finished 5th with a 88. Following the event, all five varsity golfers were recognized as being all-conference. Anna Dodane was first team, Ellie Gatton, Emma Dodane and Hayden Double earned 2nd team and Emilyn Heaston was Honorable Mention. The Lady Knights are gearing up for sectional play which will take place next Saturday (9/17) at Timber Ridge @ 9:00 a.m.
