The Varsity Football team traveled to Bellmont on Friday with a NE8 match-up with the Braves. After recovering an on-side kick to start the game, Kline Neuenschwander scored on reverse from 50 yards out to get the Knights on the board :15 seconds into the game. Norwell added two more touchdowns in the 1st quarter on a 12 yard run by Luke Graft and a 5 yard pass from Drew Graft to Kline Neuenschwander. The Knights added two more touchdowns in the 2nd quarter as Aydan Rusu had a pick six and Luke graft scored on the ground from 43 yards out. In the fourt quarter Tim Bonjour picked up two touchdowns, scoring first from a yard out and then from 34 yards out as time expired. Austin DeLeon was 6-6 on PAT's. The Knights will host New Haven on Friday (9/16) at 7:00 p.m. at the Courtyard.
