The Homestead Spartans hosted the varsity softball girls on Friday and greeted them by outhitting the Knights 16-3. The Lady Knights got hits from Brown and Markley as the fell by a score of 10-3. They will open up NE8 conference play on Monday as the host Leo at 5:30.
