Both matches this evening were played in the match play format. Norwell’s varsity tied Bluffton 2.5-2.5 in regulation tonight. On the first sudden-death playoff hole, Derek Smith sank a clutch par putt to halve the hole and extend the match. On the second sudden-death playoff hole, Chase Hulvey found the center of the fairway and stuck his approach inside of 10 feet. He proceeded to sink the birdie putt to win the hole and the match. Norwell advances to a record of 8-3. Norwell’s JV handily defeated Bluffton by winning each JV pairing. Norwell advances to a record of 6-2.
