The girls soccer team drew Heritage in the 2nd game of the first round of the IHSAA Sectional being held at Bellmont. Varsity Results: Norwell 7 - Heritage 5 (OT) Norwell led 4-1 at halftime only to have Heritage tie the game up at 5 to force the two overtime periods. Norwell scored two goals in the first overtime period and held on to win 7-5 (OT). Scorers for Norwell were: Addy Archbold, Grace Mann and Makenzie Fuess with 2 goals each with Karrigan Melcher scoring 1 goal to add to Norwell’s total. Next Game: Norwell advanced to play host Bellmont on Thursday Oct 6th at 5pm in the second round of the Sectional Tournament.
