The Girls Soccer teams traveled to Blackhawk Saturday evening for a pair of matches with the JV playing a single half prior to the varsity match. Results: Varsity: Norwell 4 Blackhawk 2 JV: Norwell 1 Blackhawk 1 Individual Highlights: Varsity: Grace Mann led Norwell with 2 goals one early and one late in the game for the go-ahead score. Ridley Sheets had the tying goal while Karrigan Melcher sealed the win very late with a goal of her own. Addison Roembke had an assist playing up from her defensive position. Abby Wagner, Emma Garner and Maggie Neuenschwander were in the goal for Norwell JV: Norwell’s score came from Kaylee Bennett who also had several other great opportunities. Goalkeepers for Norwell were Emma Garner, Maggie Neuenschwander and Shae Brooks. Next Event: Norwell Lady Knights JV will host Homestead JV on Tuesday August 27th at 5:30pm. Norwell Lady Knights JV and Varsity will host Leo for the first NE8 match of the season on Wednesday 28th with JV at 5:30pm followed by Varsity at 7pm.
