Boys Basketball teams opened their seasons at Carroll on Wednesday night against the Chargers. Unfortunately the three teams were swept in their season openers. Varsity: The varsity contest was a tight contest all night with Norwell leading 16-13 at the end of the 1st and 31-28 at the break. Carroll cut the lead to 1 at the end of the 3rd quarter and then outscored the Knights 17-15 in the final stanze to win 59-58. Norwell got 25 from Luke McBride and 16 from Lleyton Bailey. Brody Bolyn picked up 8 boards and Luke Graft had 6 assists. JV: The JV team was also defeated at Carroll by a score of 47-39. Adam McBride had 14, Caiden Petrie with 6 and Owen Wallis and Brady Smith each chipped in 5. 9th: The Freshman dropped their season opener to the Chargers 25-19. Noah Schamerloh paced the Knights with 10 and Will case added 7.
