Knights Take Two of Three From Mississinewa

The Norwell Knight Boys Basketball teams opened up their home season hosting the Mississinewa Indians. The varsity and JV teams picked up wins while the Freshman fell on Tuesday night. Varsity: Norwell 68 - Mississinewa 21 The Knights got off to a face start leading 18-6 at the end of the 1st and 32-10 at Halftime. Coming out of the locker room, Norwell outscored Mississinewa 22-6 in the 3rd on their way to a 68-21 victory. Luke McBride led the team with 23 points that included 5-6 from the 3-point line. Lleyton Bailey had 10 points and 7 assists. JV: Norwell 47 - Mississinewa 28 The Knights had three players in double figures with Brady Smith pouring in 16, Adam McBride had 14 and Caiden Petrie addeed 12. Freshman: Mississinewa 37 - Norwell 34 The frosh were led by Noah Schamerloh and Will Case who both had 13 points in the loss. Boys Basketball is back home on Saturday vs Oak Hill in a triple-header with the Freshman starting at 11.
