In a battle of the NE8 Knights, the Norwell Varsity Softball team used a big 6 run 4th inning to extend a 2-1 lead en route to a 10-2 victory. Kayla Watkins pitched 7 innings racking up 7 K's for the win. Reese Frauhiger had a great day at the plate hitting 2 HR's and going 3-3 with 4 RBI's and 2 Runs. Kara Brown was 3-5 with a 2B, Makayla Young had 2 hits including a HR, Leah Werling picked up 2 hits with a 2B and Mia Kurtz and Teagan Lesley also had a pair of hits. Clark and Wagner rounded out the offense picking up singles for Norwell. They will host Carroll on Thursday at 5:30.
