The JV Softball team welcomed Bellmont to the campus on Thursday for a non-conference game and a football score came to be. The Braves led 16-11 after 4 innings before Norwell scored the next 14 runs to take a 25-16 lead into the top of the 7th. In the top of the 7th Bellmont scored 7 runs and the Knights held on for a 25-23 win. Morgan got the win from the circle. Six players had multi-hit games including: Comer 3-6 w 2 RBI's, Stockman 4-4 w 5 RBI's, 2B & HR, Wagner 3-5 w 4 RBI's & 2B, Heindel 3-5 w 5 RBI's,, 2B & HR, Morgan 2-4 and Brock 3-3 w 3 RBI's & HR. They will be at home on Monday against Columbia City at 5:30.
