The Softball team is hosting the Sectional this week and the Knights faced the Bellmont Braves in Game 2 on Monday afternoon. Bellmont started fast scoring 4 in the top of the first. Norwell answered with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning but couldn't keep pace as Bellmont added five more runs in the second and third innings to lead 9-2 early. The Knights fought back and made a late push but came up short 9-5 and see their season come to an end. Reese Frauhiger & Mia Kurtz led the offense with three hits, a double and RBI each. Leah Werling had a pair of hits and Makayla Young, Hayden Herman & Kayla Watkins also had hits in the loss.
