The Girls Soccer teams hosted the Ft. Wayne Fusion in JV action on Monday, followed by the Varsity taking on East Noble. Results: Norwell Varsity 1 – East Noble 1 (Norwell won in a sudden death shootout) Norwell JV 0 – Ft Wayne Fusion 0 Individual Highlights: Varsity: Grace Mann scored Norwell’s goal on an assist from Aubrey Meyer. Abby Wagner had 4 saves included a great one on a 1v keeper. Regulation play the teams even at 1-1. After both OT periods the teams were still tied at 1 apiece. Both teams connected on 2 of the first 5 shootout kicks (Grace Mann and Hallie Smith) and then Freshman Leah Randol ended the shootout on a sudden death goal after Wagner got the save on East Noble's attempt.
