In Game 1 of the IHSAA Softball sectional at Bellmont, Norwell scored in the top of the 1st before giving up two unearned runs to Oak Hill in the bottom half of the inning. In the bottom of the 4th, the Golden Eagles platted two more unearned runs extending their lead to 4-1. The Knights scored a run in each of the next three innings to force extra innings. In the 8th, Norwell scored twice and held on for a 6-4 win to advance to the Semi-Finals on Tuesday. Delaney Connett had a big night at the plate going 3-5 and picking up the game winning RBI's in the 8th.
