The Girls Soccer team opened Sectional play at Canterbury on Wednesday against the host Cavaliers and came away with a 3-0 victory to advance to Thursday's Semi-Finals at 7:00 against TBD. Hallie Smith started the scoring for Norwell off an assist from Adrienne Wagner. Grace Mann scored the second goal off a penalty drawn by Kaylee Bennett. Grace Mann also scored the final goal of the game taking the ball from her Center Back Defensive position all the way for her second goal of the game. Haley Williamson and Grace Mann both had extremely strong games as a defenders playing a big part in keeping Canterbury from scoring. Abby Wagner was in the goal for the Norwell shutout.
