The Norwell Girls Golf team opened their season in the Bellmont Invite at Cross Creek on Tuesday. Led by Ellie Gatton who was the individual medalist with an 86, the Knights won the Invite with a team score of 369. Additional scores for the Knights - Anna Dodane - 87, Savanna Simerman - 96, Emmy Heaston - 100 and Nevada Lenwell - 103. The girls will play in the South Adams Invite on Wednesday at Wabash Valley starting at 9:00.
